Luis talks: Head Coach’s views on London United 3-9 Helvécia

Head Coach Luis Marimón showed mixed feelings about his team’s closing game for the regular season:

“I’m happy with the win and the result, but not with the three conceded goals. We need to keep clean sheets. We did many things right and we had good phases during the game, when we moved the ball well and created chances, and also when we pressed really well, getting the ball back at the first line of defence, showing that when we do things correctly we make a difference. But we also showed that when we take the foot off the gas or we lose concentration, it gets harder, we get stuck and suffer. We can’t allow that!

I’m happy as well as younger players like Philippe Ferrari and Stewart Blake enjoyed minutes. They’re growing sports-wise and learning, and they did well today. Everyone’s commitment and involvement is very important for us, senior and junior players alike. With everyone’s help and work we’ll achieve our aims”.

Helvécia now wait for the final results in the League to find out who the rival in the knockouts is, and will travel on 3rd April to face Birmingham Futsal Club Birmingham Futsal Club, who finished the FA Futsal Super League North as unbeaten champions, in the FA Futsal Cup.
